The online streaming giant has roped in Shahrukh Khan, to do the promotional videos for the same, which will be streaming shortly.
The series will have Emraan Hashmi and Sobhita Dhulipala playing spies in this thriller series. This series has been produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chilli Entertainment where Vineet Kumar Singh would also be seen in the lead role. This is an adaption from Bilal Siddiqui book which has been titled with the same name.
In the official trailer of the series which begins with the shoot in Balochistan, features Indian spies captured. Those were about to get beheaded before they could relay an important piece of information to India.
In the series, Emraan Hashmi is playing spy Kabir Anand aka Adonis, who has been called by the PMO to go to Balochistan. He is out on the rescue mission along with Isha played by Sobhita Dhulipala and Veer played by Vineet Kumar Singh.
This is a rescue cum Suicide mission for the spies. Kabir has been expelled from the spy agency but has been recalled for this mission to save his country from his new life where he is Shakespeare professor in Mumbai.
This is surely going to be a 7 episode high energy thriller series which will be starting from 27 September 2019.
According to Emraan, Brad of blood has brilliant star cast having Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajit Kapoor, Kirti Kulhari and others in various roles. Quoting Emraan “I’ve always believed that in movies, because of the very nature of the business, there are a few stereotypes that one has to abide by.” Netflix’s series has been an experiment for the star who himself is a big fan of various series on this streaming giant.
According to, director Ribhu Dasgupta, “Directing the series for Netflix, in association with Red Chillies Entertainment and Mr Khan (SRK) has been an extremely fulfilling experience. I am so glad I could be part of it and very excited about the trailer launch.”
