A video of a girl from Indore dancing at a traffic signal when the lights turned red has become popular on social media. The dancing video was shot at Rasoma Square, which is one of Indore’s busiest thoroughfares. Individuals stopped to stare at the child dancing in the middle of the road, mistaking it for an Indore Police campaign looking for people willing to volunteer to regulate and guide traffic for an hour on their relatives’ birthdays. When the video became famous on social media, however, it was immediately dismissed as a marketing stunt.

Shreya Kalra, a model, was seen grooving to Doja Cat’s Let Me Be Your Woman in the 30-second video. When the lights turned red, she began dancing on the zebra crossing. The video of her dancing to the upbeat music was taken by someone who had accompanied her. Shreya danced at the signal until the lights turned green again, and she also used her video to encourage people to wear masks.

Here’s the video:

The footage was not favorably received by the authorities, who issued her a traffic infraction notice. The traffic department urged young people to stay cautious, while the DSP advised them to engage in just those recreational activities that do not endanger others or themselves.
