Red Bull, a popular energy drink, posted a video on Twitter that has now gone viral. In it, Dario Costa, an Italian pilot, casually flies through two tunnels in Turkey, leaving the internet stunned.
He accomplished this achievement in the early hours of September 4 when he flew his race plane through the country’s famous Catalca tunnels at a speed of close to 250 kilometers per hour.
Here is the link to the video.

The description reads, “So Dario Costa just became the first person to fly a plane through TWO tunnels and we are literally speechless.”
Costa explained in response to a Red Bull blog post, “Everything seemed to be happening so fast, but when I got out of the first tunnel, the plane started to move to the right because of the crosswinds and in my head, everything slowed down at that moment. I reacted and just focussed on getting the plane back on the right path to enter the other tunnel. Then, in my mind, everything sped up again.”
He was not only the first to do it, but he also set the Guinness World Record for the longest tunnel flown through with an aeroplane.
The video went viral on Twitter and other social media platforms for obvious reasons. It has over 7 lakh views and is still growing. It had netizens completely perplexed. “That’s some sick flying skills,” one person said, before inquiring about the video’s production.
Some people were not impressed. This was even labeled as ‘pointless’ by one user.
What are your thoughts on the video?
