The excitement around the theme song of Money Heist seems to last forever in India. Now, after innumerable covers, a bhajan-style rendition of “Bella Ciao” is making the rounds on the internet.

You won’t believe it, A local band in Gujarat was observed singing the Netflix show’s theme tune on Indian classical instruments such as harmonium, tabla, and manjira. The Spanish Theme song which was performed in a temple by musicians and was given a desi twist is making rounds on the internet.

Since the series, formerly known as La Casa De Papel, premiered on Netflix in early September with its last season, Indians have been unable to get enough of it, and the latest video has received positive feedback from fans.

The Bachpan ka Pyar song’s fame- Shahdev Dirdo, has previously joined the bandwagon. This song was recorded by a bunch of singers with a Marathi twist to increase knowledge about Covid-19 and immunization. Many Indian celebrities, like actor Ayushmann Khurrana and singer Harshdeep Kaur, have tried their hand at it.

The Mumbai Police Department’s band has acquired an internet celebrity after performing the theme tune.

The song, which was originally a protest anthem chanted by farmers in the nineteenth century, has regained popularity after being featured in this Spanish series in recent years.
