The enraged client contacted Jannelle Broland, the manager of the Mexican chain Sol de Jalisco, and the video shows them arguing briefly before the customer suddenly grabbed up the bowl and tossed the Spicy Spicy Mexican Menudo soup right at Jannelle.
On TikTok and other digital platforms, the video of the dispute and the following “attack” went viral. The woman turns and walks out of the store after hurling the container at the manager’s face.
Jannelle is shown explaining in a YouTube video from Inside Edition that while she had no injuries because the soup had cooled down, the spices left her with a tingling sensation and even a nosebleed.
Needless to say, the entire experience left Jannelle traumatized and heartbroken. Fortunately, she did not sustain any burns. However, this does not deny the fact that she had a negative experience.
The woman has been identified, according to sources, and she is a nurse at a local hospital. According to reports, a police report has been filed. The buyer was blasted by netizens after Jannelle published the TikTok footage of the tragic incident. Many others expressed their support for Janelle, even suggesting that the customer be imprisoned.
