While hunting, wild lionesses are virtually always seen. Those who live in zoos or as pets, on the other hand, are not required to hunt for their pride’s food. As a result, the lions become more friendly toward humans, particularly those who look after them. A charming video showcasing a loving bond between a man and a lioness has gone viral on social media. If you don’t see the whole scene, you might think the lioness is attacking the man.

The guy, Val Gruener, looks after Sirga, a lioness at a reserve in Botswana’s Kalahari desert (Southern Africa). Val raised the 9-year-old lioness, and the two are inseparable. He routinely publishes mesmerizing photographs of himself and Sirga on Instagram. Sirga also has a separate Instagram account,’sirgathelioness,’ with 78k followers.

A few weeks ago, he shared the video below, titled “Kalahari catwalk.” The post has received around 2,700 likes. This film depicts Sirga’s existence in the Kalahari reserve. Val may be seen opening the lion enclosure gate when the video begins. Sirga then leaps to greet him and cuddles him. They are later seen in the desert, sitting and cooling together.
