Thanks to a humorous YouTube video, a grandmother who operates a lucrative takeaway company out of her terraced house has become an internet phenomenon. Rate My Takeaway paid a visit to Marion Love’s house in Farnworth’s Charles Street and ordered a full English breakfast and some homemade cookies.

The host, Danny Malin, then ate and reviewed the meal on a makeshift table outside her house. Since April 11, the film, which has been dubbed “the most northern video in history” by one reviewer, has been seen more than 700,000 times.

Ms Love, a self-taught cook, is no stranger to social media, having accumulated more than 30,000 followers across her Grandma’s Kitchen Facebook and Instagram profiles.

The 50-year-old claimed the video has increased her fan base even more, and she has received a flood of letters of support since it was posted. She stated, ” “It’s all gotten a little out of hand! “It was suggested to everyone by the YouTube algorithm.” ” He’s done other films as well, but this one was a little unusual because it was shot outside my house, and it seems to have gone over well.

“I’ve probably acquired 1,000 followers, and I’ve received a lot of love and support.” It’s simply exploding.” Ms Love revealed intentions to operate a cafe in Piggott Street, Farnworth, in 2019, however, the pandemic caused the project to be postponed. The construction is currently well underway, with the goal of opening in the summer. “It’s going fantastically,” she continued.
