A terrifying video of two teenagers dangling from a burning building’s window has gone viral. The incident occurred in New York’s East Village. The viral video shows two teens, ages 13 and 18, attempting to flee through the window of a blazing building.
One of them was seen dangling from a building window at the start of the video. The first one managed to hold the pole next to him after a few seconds. While this was going on, the other one began climbing outside with the assistance of the one on the pole. They didn’t wait for the rescue crews and slid down the pole on their own, despite the fact that the building was on fire.
The teenagers amazingly escaped, however they did suffer minor injuries.
“Yesterday morning, two teens – a 13 and 18-year-old – escaped a burning building in East Village, NYC. In the video, you can see the first teen hanging from the window then standing up and holding on to a pole and helping the second person. You can also see the flames forcing them to go down the pole and not wait for rescue. There was 1 fatality at the scene. All others have been accounted for. Both teens are recovering in a local hospital and are in stable condition,” read the caption of the post.

The video, which was shared on Twitter by the Good News Correspondent, has nearly 3 lakh views. Netizens responded in droves in the comments section. Some others praised the adolescent’s boldness.
