People hardly ever find fun at police stations. However, a young boy’s visit to a police station in Kerala’s Palakkad district ended up giving the officers a good laugh. The police were alerted by the young boy’s performance of a Malayalam folk song, and his singing video has now gone viral on social media.

The youngster may be seen sitting close to a police officer in the brief video. The youngster starts singing as soon as the policeman yells, “1,2,3.” A female police officer is seen setting another chair in front of him as he begins pounding on the chair to generate rhythm. The boy keeps singing enthusiastically while banging on the chair. On the opposite side, several police officers can appreciate the boy’s performance.

According to the text in the video, the youngster was named Yadav and was visiting the Nattukal police station. Kerala Police modified a well-known line from the Malayalam film Praja and used it as the title for the post, asking, “Can Zakir Bhai enter a police station and sing a song? Seen in a Palakkad police station.”

Many Instagram users immediately compared the video and a sequence from the film Action Hero Biju. Sub-inspector Biju Poulose, played by actor Nivin Pauly, forced a man to sing a song inside a police station in the Malayalam scene.
