Old footage of a python climbing a tree has gone viral after resurfacing on the internet. Even with its hefty weight, the long snake used a remarkable strategy to crawl up the tree. The footage is from Southeast Asia, and it’s roughly five years old.
A reticulated python, which is one of the world’s most dangerous snakes, is seen in the video. It is also the world’s longest reptile, measuring 1.5 to 6.5 metres (4.9 to 21.3 feet) in length and weighing up to 75 kilograms. Climbing trees or surfaces might be difficult for snakes of that size and weight.
The enormous python climbs a big palm tree in a mesmerizing fashion in the video. The snake wrapped itself around the thick tree bark, coiling around it, and then raising its head. It then repeats the process and ascends to a high position in the tree.
