Known for his energetic Hindi commentary and gameplay, Ajju bhai’s journey shows how consistency, accessibility, and a strong connection with viewers can transform a gaming channel into a full-fledged creator brand.
The Total Gaming YouTube channel was created in October 2018, and its early growth was closely linked to Garena Free Fire. At a time when mobile gaming was rapidly expanding in India, Ajju bhai found an audience through entertaining gameplay, challenges, and live interactions rather than relying solely on highly polished production values. In 2021, Total Gaming crossed 25 million subscribers and more than three billion cumulative views, becoming the first Indian gaming creator to reach those milestones, according to Animation Xpress.
What made Ajju bhai’s rise particularly interesting was the community-first approach behind the channel. In an earlier interview with YourStory, he explained that he initially created Total Gaming to connect with people who shared his interest in gaming. His live streams gradually grew from attracting only a handful of viewers to drawing a large community of gaming fans.
Free Fire played a major role in that growth, but Ajju bhai did not remain limited to a single title. He has experimented with games including Call of Duty, GTA 5 and other popular releases. In an interview with The Indian Express, he also highlighted the importance of being versatile as a gaming creator and adapting to new games rather than relying entirely on a single title.
Another defining chapter came with his face reveal. Google’s 2024 India YouTube Culture & Trends report noted that Ajju bhai revealed his face after fans had encouraged him to do so, at a time when Total Gaming had around 37 million subscribers. Google also reported that his on-camera vlogs and watch-along gameplay content generated more than 900 million views in 2024.
The scale of the channel has continued to grow. Current third-party YouTube analytics place Total Gaming at approximately 45.8 million subscribers, more than 5.2 billion views, and nearly 600 videos as of August 2026.
From starting a channel to entertain fellow gamers in 2018 to building a community of tens of millions, Ajju bhai’s Total Gaming journey reflects the rapid rise of gaming entertainment in India. More than the numbers, it is the ability to evolve with games, platforms and audience expectations that has kept Total Gaming relevant for years.
