He primarily sings in Urdu and Hindi but has also vocalized in Punjabi, Bengali, and Pashto respectively. With numerous prosperous chart-topping music, he is repeatedly presumed as one of the apparent playback vocalists in the Indian and Pakistani song determination of all times. In 2008, Aslam accumulated the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, the fourth-highest civilian exemption award from the Pakistani government.
