Garlic Butter Baked Salmon

Ingredients

Salmon fillet
Lemon juice
Garlic(minced)
Melted butter or melted ghee
Seasoning
Garnish (parsley and lemon slices chopped)

Method

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. A baking sheet large enough to fold over and seal the fish should be lined. Whisk together the lemon juice, garlic, and melted butter or melted ghee in a small bowl.

Pour the butter mixture over the salmon on the prepared baking sheet, being careful to keep as much butter mixture on the fish as possible. Add some salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes to taste.

Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon to completely cover it and prevent the butter mixture from leaking out. Place the sheet pan in the oven and bake for 12-16 minutes, or until done. Broil the fish for 2-3 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown. By keeping a constant eye on the fish, you can avoid burning it. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Remove the sheet pan from the oven. Then, using a spoon, dollop some of the remaining butter sauce onto the salmon and garnish before serving.
