Be it Sunday lunch with family or party weekend with homies, Biryani is one classic dish that can’t go wrong with the plan! Biryani tastes rich and delicious, be it veg or non-veg. However, cooking veg biryani can be a lengthy process as compared to non-veg Biryani, but the simplicity makes up for it. Serve it with mouth-watering raita or healthy salad because there isn’t any need for many big things on your menu when you have a big handi of aromatic, flavourful veg biryani. But ensure to use a good mixture of vegetables for maximum color, flavor, and taste.

Ingredients: Maggi Magic cubes, Ghee, Cinnamon, Cloves, Green Cardamom, Star Anise, Peppercorns, Black Cardamom, Onion, Ginger garlic, Coriander powder, Tomato, Water, Rice, Chopped veggies, and Salt.

Procedure:

Step 1: Prepare all the needed ingredients as listed above in the section.

Step 2: Firstly, heat the desi ghee in a pan, and add the cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom, star anise, peppercorns, and black cardamom. And then finally, add onions and saute until it gets golden brown.

Step 3: After sauteing, add the ginger garlic paste and stir it till you stop getting the raw smell of it. Then add chilli powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder and saute for some time for good taste and texture.

Step 4: Now add the chopped tomatoes and cook them until they are soft, and then add all the veggies you wish for color and taste and mix it well.

Step 5: After mixing it well, add crumbled Maggi cubes, mint leaves, and coriander leaves. Mix them well after adding salt as per taste. Finally, bring to a boil and add long basmati rice.

Step 6: Lower the flame and cook it covered till both rice and veggies get cooked properly.

Step 7: And you are done; serve hot with raita.
