Aamras is a summer chill in a bowl. One of the most popular dishes is made during the summer season or on weekends.

Traditionally, Aamras is served with Puri. And this is a quite famous and regular dish in times of summer. Well, this can be eaten as a sweet dish, meal, or anytime you want. This is one of the mandatory dishes at weddings in summer.

Directions.

Start by rinsing 2 or more Alphonso mangoes in clean water thoroughly, and then dry them with a clean kitchen cloth.

Now peel off the mangoes and chop them. Add the chopped mangoes into the blender. You also add some sugar if mangoes are tangy or sour as per your wish.

Note: The amount of sugar or jaggery depends on the taste of the mango or your preference. If the mangoes are tangy you should add the sweetening agent or if the mangoes are sweet enough you do not need to add anything, it will ruin the dish.

Suggestion: Mangoes naturally have heating quality. So it is preferred to soak them in cool water for a couple of hours so that the heat will be reduced and then you can dry them for use.

Now, blend the mangoes until they turn into a soft paste. Also, you can add water and sugar as per the need. Then serve aamras with or without Puri and enjoy the chill.
