In a warm chat with IWMBuzz.com, Kirtida Mistry talks of her food interests.

What is your favourite cheat food?

There’s no cheat day or cheat meal for me. I love my food and always eat whatever I like of ghar ka khana. I never eat from outside. So I am free to have anything and everything

What would be your last meal on Earth?

 Pizza loaded with cheese, Thai curry with rice

Do you cook at home? What do you make? Share a recipe with us

Yes, I love cooking and I like to try different delicacies. Being a Gujarati, I love my mithais and desserts. I will quickly share with you guys the recipe for making Oats Laddoos.

You will need roasted oats, roasted peanuts and roasted sesame seeds. Blend these three ingredients in a mixer into a powder. Add cardamom powder to it. Take little bit of ghee in the pan. Add jaggery in it. Once it is melted, you have to add this jaggery mix to the powder. Mix all of it nicely and start rolling it into laddoos. It is very tasty.

Veg Or Non-Veg? 

I used to have non-veg once in a while. But for the last six to seven months, I have turned into an eggetarian.

Baked Or Fried:

I am so confused. It depends on my mood actually; depends on what I am craving for. If I have to pick one, maybe it will be fried

One vegetable that you hate the most:

There is nothing that I hate the most. I love all the veggies. From childhood, I love my food.

Nothing actually. I do not wish to experiment and try something weird

Celebrity you would love to cook for: 

I will like to call my friends over and cook good food for them. This lockdown has stopped all of it as of now

Midnight snack:

I make sure that I finish my dinner at 7pm. I do not have anything after that. This has been my habit for the last seven or eight years. I eat whatever I want, but I make sure I don’t eat anything after evening. If I do feel hungry, I munch on peanuts or almonds.

Kadai Paneer
