Pink pasta is a recipe that includes a blend of tomato and cream sauce. One of the easiest and most delicious dishes is pasta with pink sauce. Pink sauce pasta is popular in the Middle East and is a commonly ordered dish in restaurants. The dish is a blend of the tangy taste of tomato and a creamy texture from the white sauce. 

Ingredients: For 2 servings-

For bowling pasta: 1 1/2 litre water, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp olive oil, 2 cup penne pasta.

For white pasta sauce: 1 tsp butter, 2 tsp olive oil, 2 tbsp maida, 1 1/2 cup chilled milk, 1/4 tsp mixed herbs, 1/4 tsp chili flakes, 1/4 salt, 3 tbsp grated cheese. 

For red pasta sauce: 3 tsp olive oil, 1 tsp butter, 3 finely chopped garlic cloves, 1/2 tsp mixed herbs, 1/2 tsp chilli flakes, 1 finely chopped onion, 1 1/2 cup tomato puree, 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp salt.

Other ingredients: 3 tbsp grated cheese 1/4 tsp chilli flakes, 1/4 tsp mixed herbs.

Method: Boil your pasta and set it aside to cool.

For White sauce:

  1. Heat a pan, add butter, olive oil, and maida. 
  2. Roast it on a low flame until aromatic. 
  3. Add milk and keep stirring until the sauce becomes thick. 
  4. Add mixed herbs, chilli flakes, salt, and cheese. Mix everything well and let it cook. 

For Red sauce: 1. Take a wok and add olive oil, butter, garlic cloves, mixed herbs, chilli flakes, and heat. 

  1. Sauce on low flame until aromatic. 
  2. Add onion and saute the onions. 
  3. Add tomato puree and keep it on medium flame until the puree thickens. 
  4. Add tomato sauce, chilli powder, and salt. 
  5. Continue to cook and the red sauce is ready. 

For the pink sauce: 1. Combine both the sauce and add everything as per your choice. 

  1. Add the boiled pasta and mix well. 
  2. You can add extra cheese for a creamy texture. 
  3. Mix everything well and your pink pasta is ready to be served.
