Recipe for Semolina Orange Cake

Beat 200gm butter

Add 200gms of caster sugar. Beat well

Add 4eggs. Beat well

Add vanilla essence

Add 150grams flour. Combine everything

Add 160 ml (fresh orange juice). Combine

Add 130 gms semolina flour, add orange zest. Combine (do not overmix)

Pour in a baking tin (8 inch )

(line your tin with baking paper )

Top with chopped almonds or walnuts

Preheat oven at 180 degree C

Bake at 180 degrees for 1hour 15 min (cover the cake with foil paper after 45 min to avoid over-browning)

Cool for 15 min then remove the cake from the tin.
