Let’s look at what caffeine is? It’s a chemical found in coffee, tea, cola, mate, and a few other products. Caffeine is normally used for mental alertness. It’s consumed orally or in a combination with other painkillers such as aspirin and acetaminophen. In a few other diseases, caffeine is used. Some caffeine products are sold in some concentrated or pure form. It’s also used in most soft drinks, energy drinks, and other beverages. If you take an extra dose of caffeine, it’s very bad for your health and there are various side effects of it and here we look at those few side effects.

* Caffeine is unsafe when taken by mouth for a long time or in high doses i.e. more than 400 mg per day. It can cause insomnia, nervousness, and restlessness.
* Larger doses of caffeine may cause headache, anxiety, agitation, and chest pain. It may cause irregular heartbeats.
* The products with very concentrated or pure caffeine are risky and you should avoid them.
* Caffeine may aggravate bleeding disorders. Those who are having this problem should avoid or use caffeine with care.
* Caffeine may affect the way the body uses sugar and can worsen diabetes.
* Excess Caffeine may lead to diarrhea. Excess intake of caffeine can create problems for people having high blood pressure.
* Excess Caffeine may lead to weak bones, bladder problems, and even symptoms of schizophrenia.

Those were few side effects of caffeine and its intake needs to be controlled.
