Cheat Food:

No food is cheat food for me. Every food gives me energy. My father-in-law calls me and Ruhi every Sunday for a meal. He loves cooking for us. He adds a lot of ghee, oil and sweetness along with a lot of love to his food. So I believe this is my cheat food which I lovingly eat.

Favourite Exercise:

I love to run. I love to climb mountains. This is my favourite exercise pattern.

The purpose of exercise for you is:

The purpose of exercise is to feel good from the inside. It is not related to how I look. I need to be fit and that is the purpose of exercise for me.

Fruit or juices:

Fruits as it is the most natural form.

Stairs or lift:

I like stairs more than lifts. I see to it that I take the help of steps always.

Your best morning routine will comprise of:

Watching the sunrise. It starts my day well.

Your favourite lockdown exercise:

I worked out a lot at home during lockdown. But Suryanamaskar and Yoga were the best exercises for me. I had to relax my body both mentally and physically. So Yoga kept me stable.

Yoga Or Weights:

Both are important. Weight training has to be there to develop muscle strength for 2 to 3 days in a week. Yoga too has to be there for 2 to 3 days.

Walking or Jogging:

Both are good for health. I will choose both for myself.

Your take on health supplements:

If a person needs to attain a supreme phase of fitness, he needs health supplements. However, when you look at having normal health, you can get all the needed nutrients in your food.

Best way to burn calories:

Fast walking is the best way to burn calories. If we need to go near our house, go by walking and walk fast. It will help you a lot. Mahatma Gandhiji walked fast, and the entire world ran behind him. He was fit. I also have this habit; I walk fast.

Your take on six-pack abs:

If there is a requirement of having a six-pack abs, it is fine. But otherwise, you need to sacrifice a lot to get six-pack abs. Moreover, fitness is not determined by having a six-pack abs.

Any personal goals in mind with regards to fitness:

I am inspired by Milind Soman. My goal is that I run from Mumbai to Jaipur by road. I also want to climb Mount Everest and touch its peak. I am working on my fitness to fulfil these two goals.

One tip for everyday fitness:

If we give 30 minutes to fast walking, no illness can touch us.
