Priya Bathija who was last seen in the &TV supernatural show Daayan has given herself a new look, courtesy her regimented workout and disciplined fitness life.
Today we talk to Priya on her fitness ideas and learn a lot from her.
Cheat food will be desserts and chaat
For the last two to three years, I have got into fitness. I like doing weight training. I don’t like doing the functional at all.
Fruit or Juices:
I like to have vegetable juices. When it comes to fruit, I like eating the whole fruit
Stairs or Lift:
Anyday, it is the stairs. I don’t use the lift at all.
Your best morning routine will comprise of:
During lockdown, my whole routine changed. I give more importance to the mornings. I used to get up by about 5.30 in the morning, sit by my window and have my warm cup of turmeric water. Post that, I used to workout. After finishing these chores by 7.30 am, I enjoy my wholesome breakfast.
Your favourite lockdown exercise:
Suryanamaskar, skipping and working on my abs have been my favourites during the lockdown
Yoga or weights:
I used to do yoga before. Usually I was more into weights. But now, I give equal importance to both yoga and weights
Walking or jogging:
I walk as well as jog. If I walk for 1 km for example, then I jog for 500 metres.
Your take on health supplements:
If you have a healthy diet, you just don’t need any supplements
Best way to burn calories:
Cardio like cycling, running, swimming
One tip for everyday fitness:
You should have some form of physical activity everyday. Yes, you can take breaks from workouts for few days in a week. Just don’t sit and laze around; you have so much to do at home. Another tip I will want to give is that early mornings are the best time for workouts. If you do it early in the morning, you have great energy for the entire day.
