When it comes to an active kid, there is a fine line between being a naturally active kid and a kid who is being affected or experiencing a hyperactivity disorder. This disorder is called attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This type of child tries to seek attention in the early stage of development since they come across many realistic and unrealistic things in their life. ADHD is often not recognised until and unless the kid has started to grow a little and is expressing his views to others in life.

There are many signs of ADHD that include behavioural problems such as difficulty in concentrating or following instructions. The inability to control inappropriate behaviour such as running and making loud noises and bothering people around and also trying to interrupt other people while they’re talking, and even displaying frustration.

These kids cannot be criticised or punished for displaying such behaviour. If parents, teachers or other caretakers react or even overreact at the child they can turn out to be even more hyper.

You can try to control this behaviour. All you need is to distract them with things and activities that they love doing, and help the, channel their energies.
