Dhanush is the son of noted producer Kasthuri Raja. He entered the acting zone after his brother, director Selvaraghavan showed him the path and vision.
Dhanush married Aishwarya, the eldest daughter of Rajinikanth. They have two sons, Yatra and Linga.

As per a report by popular Tamil entertainment channel Valai Pechu, Dhanush’s house is being built on eight grounds (approximately 19000 sq ft) and it’ll be a four-storey building. The cost of the building is valued at ₹150 crore.
