India is a country with diverse talent. In simple words, the country is home to creative minds. Whether be it art, music, photography or any other field, there have been various artists who have showcased their talents. One of the talented names who has proved his mettle in photography is Loveveer Singh. He has time and again impressed everyone with his creative flair by capturing some breathtaking pictures. The photographer who belongs to Punjab is an ardent traveller and has been capturing some of the best moments through his lenses. It was during his teenage the young man realised his calling for photography.
Spending 18 years of life in Gurdaspur, Punjab; he then flew to Australia to pursue higher studies. Loveveer thought of making a career in Information Technology and pursued the course. However, it did not please his interest after which he bid adieu to IT and started focusing on photography as a full-time career. “This decision was challenging. Many people told me that Information Technology was the right choice and I should have not left it for photography. But I was sure that I would excel as a photographer. Looking back today, I believe that becoming a photographer was the best decision ever”, he said.
He further added, “Whatever work I did, my heart lied in photography. That’s when I challenged myself and decided to follow my passion. I have always believed to follow my instincts and not people’s opinions or advice. After all, only you can make yourself happy. So, I feel everyone should do what their heart says.” Loveveer since the last few years has been on a travelling spree and is exploring diverse places and cultures. The creative genius says that it is great to live in the moment, but it is greater to live and capture the moment at the same time. Apart from photography, he also loves filmmaking and has been creating videos of his travel journeys.
His clicks are usually different from others. To add a blend of intensity and essence in his pictures, Loveveer prefers to shoot at peaceful places like abandoned houses, vacant forests and nearby the rivers. At just 25, this young man is creating some beautiful art through his pictures and videos. Through a constant effort and practise, Loveveer Singh has learnt the fundamentals of photography and filmmaking. As a creative mind, he calls himself a learner and considers the internet as his best teacher which has made him reach one step closer to his dream.
