The greatest tea-growing region in South India is Munnar, tucked away in God’s Own Country in the most stunning settings imaginable. Located just 20 miles from the city center, this lake offers stunning views of lush green hills adorned with beautiful cherry blossoms that are unrivaled in their beauty. Additionally, if you happen to be fortunate, you may even have the opportunity to glimpse some of the highly coveted Neelakurunji blossoms! You can enjoy a variety of boating options, including traditional rowboats, modern pedal boats, and even Kashmiri shikaras, during your visit.

This waterfall, around 30 miles from Munnar, comes from the Eravikulam stream. Your yearning for a scenic sight is quenched by the falls’ dazzling white appearance, which resembles silk. A tiny store offering delicious treats from Malabar cuisine is next to this waterfall.

Lockhart Gap is the ideal location if you want to act like a child once more and play in the vaporous mist. The heart-shaped crevice between the two nearby mountains, where this lovely location is located, is whence the place got its name. You’ll be surprised not only by the cloud cover in this valley but also by the tranquil seclusion and the faint aroma of freshly brewed tea!
