Neha Dhupia began her career with modelling and then entered Bollywood. Since then, she hasn’t looked back. In the year 2002, she was crowned Miss India. On the occasion of completing 20 years, she took to Instagram to share her thoughts.
Neha shared a few heartwarming pictures in an Instagram post, which showed her now wearing the Miss India crown. It also had pictures of her family, with her husband Angad Bedi, her parents and children. We love the transformation that she has had and how she is flaunting her grey hair patch.
She wrote a heartwarming message along with the photos. It was as follows,
“20 years went by in a flash … but if I shut my eyes and think, all I have is gratitude in my heart.
I didn’t think that it would be possible to wear this crown on stage again and relive one of the most precious moments of my life with my most precious people.”
Neha also wrote, “20 years later I stood taller, stronger, more experienced and a few dresses size bigger 🙂 … but most importantly I stood for every little girl who dares to dream and work hard towards it, for every daughter who wants nothing more than to make her parents proud, for every partner who basis their relationship on love and equality and for every mother who wants to live her dream and wants nothing more than to have her children by her side as she does that … sometimes in life even if we don’t have a crown … we all have our sparkle … #shineon …”.
She received a lot of love in the comments from fans and friends from the industry. Saba Pataudi wrote, “Congratulations, Totally deserved this! Superb n SO proud!! Lots of love” while her friend Maria Goretti commented, “Just so inspirational Neha, you keep it real”.
Neha was last seen in the movie ‘A Thursday’ in which she played a pregnant police official. She garnered a lot of praise for her acting skills.
