While celebs make quite a few friends over the years of being a star, some friends just can’t be left behind! There are quite a few stars who roomed with other stars before either of them made it big in Hollywood. Here are 5 celebs who were roommates before they made it big in Hollywood!
1) Vennessa Morgan and Madelaine Petsch:
These two besties first met during the audition period of the TV show Riverdale. Venessa joined the show in Season two and played the role of Toni Topaz, however she had auditioned for the part of Josie Mccoy. The two of them instantly clicked and became close friends even before Season 1 aired. They lived together for a month after the pilot episode was shot.
2) Keifer Sutherland and Robert Downey Jr.:
While both these actors came from rich and successful parents who had made a name in the entertainment industry, they had their struggles that every young actor must go through. For three years back in the ’80s, the two lived together while they kickstarted their acting careers.
3) Judd Apatow and Adam Sandler:
These two hilarious stars shared an apartment in Los Angeles while they were trying to make it big as stand-up comedians. In Apatow’s 2009 movie Funny People, which also starred Sandler, the opening scene featured real-life footage of a younger Adam Sandler making prank calls. This was shot by Apatow when they had roomed together.
4) Robin Willians and Christoper Reeve:
Williams and Reeve were roommates while they attended New York’s famous Julliard School. They had made a wow that if one of them didn’t make it in show biz, the other would help them achieve their dreams. Both of them ended up becoming legendary actors and remain friends till the end.
5) Tommy Lee Jones and Al Gore:
These two were randomly roomed together during their freshman year at Harvard. They got along so well that they asked to room together for the rest of their college years. They are close friends to this day!
