Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s love story has always been the most inspiring one over time. The couple embraced their parenthood in 2011 when they welcomed their daughter Aaradhya. However, the two kept her away from the limelight for months but eventually revealed her name and pictures.
However, while celebrating Aaradhya’s first birthday, Aishwarya revealed that there’s been a four months delay before they came up with the name Aaradhya. In an interview with Vogue in the year 2012, she spoke on the same.
She said, “‘Aaradhya’ means ‘one who is worthy of worship’. It was a name both Abhishek and I had always considered, but we threw it open to our extended family. You know, when you have a baby, time flies. I wasn’t even aware that it had been four months. I never realised this as acutely as I did when I had Aaradhya—time is luxury. You can never have enough of it.”
