On Friday, May 20, Anne Hathaway had yet another attention-getting moment at the Cannes Film Festival, this time in Gucci. The actress wore a classic blue-and-black minidress from the luxury Italian design brand to the “Armageddon Time” picture called. A bright blue leather cone bra is joined to a black sequined skirt and finished with criss-cross straps at the back that are wrapped into a bow in the Gucci style. She completed her ensemble with a pair of teal and bone cat-eye sunglasses, which she eventually took off to pose for photos. In this leather ensemble, the actress looked ‘ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.’
Erin Walsh, the star of “We Crashed,” complimented the mod-inspired ensemble with a pair of 6-inch silver shoes with little bow adornments on the front. She debuted a diamond wrap watch and a pair of matching diamond earrings from Bulgari as the jeweler’s new face. The costume, when dressed with bangs, is evocative of the leather Hathaway wore on a date in Paris as Andy Sachs, her renowned character from the 2006 comedy “The Devil Wears Prada.”
On the red carpet on Thursday, May 19, the actress was joined by her husband, Adam Shulman, who was dressed in a special Armani Privé gown with white sequins. This regal look was completed with silver slingback shoes and more Bulgari jewelry, including a Mediterranean Reverie necklace with a 100,000-carat sapphire similar to the one worn by Kate Winslet as Rose in 1997’s “Titanic,” dubbed the Heart of the Ocean.
