Many Bollywood celebrities were unable to see their final film on the big screen, leaving fans bereft. Even though several of these films went on to become huge hits and garner a lot of affection from the public, the stars were not present to see and enjoy their own films’ success.

Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Bandra home on June 14, just days before the release of his new flick Dil Bechara. Due to the statewide lockdown, the picture, which was originally planned to visit theatres in May 2020, has been postponed indefinitely. Dil Bechara’s trailer, which was released on July 6, surpassed all records and became the most loved trailer in less than 24 hours, with over 5 million likes.

Sridevi

Sridevi, one of Bollywood’s most beloved actresses, died in a terrible incident on February 24, 2018, at a hotel in Dubai where she had gone to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding. Sridevi made a cameo appearance in the 2018 film Zero, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif.

Om Puri

Om Puri, a veteran Bollywood actor, died of a major heart attack on January 6, 2017. He finished filming for Salman Khan’s Tubelight just a month before his death, and it was released on the occasion of Eid on June 25, 2017, months after his untimely passing.

Rajesh Khanna

Rajesh Khanna, dubbed the “first superstar of Bollywood” or the “original superstar” by his fans, reigned Bollywood for more than three decades before succumbing to cancer on July 18, 2012. His final film, Riyasat, was released in 2014, after his death.
