Ram Charan is one of the big names in the Telugu film industry. And his 2018 movie Rangasthalam is one of his biggest blockbusters. It grossed around Rs. 200 crores at the global box office. The actor had gone in for an unconventional period drama but that wasn’t the only reason the fans praised him for his performance. The fans enjoyed the chemistry the Ram Charan shared with Samantha Ruth Prahu. The kissing scene of the two became the highlight of the movie that grabbed everyone’s interest!
While everyone was enraptured by the lip-lock scene, the actor himself needed a lot of convincing from the Director, Sukumar for the scene. As per a Bollywood life report, Sukumar had narrated the script to the actor but the actor wasn’t too fond of the kissing scene. Sukumar agreed with the hero once the shooting began. However he did ask the actor about the scene later as well, but the director once again got a negative answer since the actor thoughts that the scene wouldn’t sit well with his wife.
The director convinced Ram Charan when he told him that he didn’t have to kiss the heroine and that he just had to get close to her and they would finish the scene with some VFX. They agreed but when the shooting started according to the same Bollywood life report, the actor ended up kissing Samantha. Later on, Samantha stated that they didn’t kiss, she said “It is just a peck on the cheek and not a lip-lock.”
