When it comes to marriages in B-Town, the trend has certainly changed in the last few years compared to how it was in the early 80s or 90s era. While earlier, we would see the entire industry turning up at a wedding along with photographers, celebrity couples today prefer their privacy as photos and videos tend to go viral in no time on social media. That’s exactly what we saw at Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding where the couple kept a ‘no phone’ policy.
Not just Deepika and Ranveer, we even saw Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal adopt the same measure to ensure their photos don’t go viral before their will and consent. So why exactly did Deepveer do that?
Once, during a conversation with Hindustan Times, when Deepika was asked this question, she responded saying that they did so because they wanted the guests to be ‘in the moment’ and enjoy the present rather than click photos and miss interesting visuals.
