According to a Koimoi report, the actor got paid twice more than he would have earned in India. He earned quite a bit in Dubai. He also met the love of his life and wife, Jessy Sethupathi there. Currently, the actor is one of the highest paid actors in the South Indian film industry, which just goes to show just how dedicated he is to his work.
