Rashmika Mandanna, the Telugu cinema sensation is one of the most popular actresses in the industry. She has made quite an impact in the industry and she enjoys a huge fan following. She has charmed everyone with her beauty, skills, fashion sense, and charming personality.

The actress is on her way to making her Bollywood debut with Mission Manju opposite Siddharth Malhotra. But what most fans don’t know is that before she signed up for the Mission Manju, she was approached to act in the remake of the Telugu movie ‘Jersey.’

According to a Times of India report, the actress had agreed to join the film. However, later she stepped back. The reason she gave was that she didn’t think she would be able to pull off the role Shraddha Srinath had essayed. She also said that she wouldn’t accept to act in a film she can’t give her all in, as per the same report.

She claimed that the remake of ‘Jersey’ was huge and that anyone would do it. But she also didn’t want to come to set all tired. The report claimed that the actress reasons that the makers of the film deserved better, some who could give more energy.

The movie revolves around a cricketer who wants to be a part of the Indian cricket team and represent India while being in his late thirties. The Hindi remake of Jersey’s cast included Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur as the lead roles. Pankaj Kumar also holds an important role. Gowtam Tinnanuri will be directing the remake as well.
