As the old adage goes, “one person’s loss is another person’s gain,” the film industry operates on the principle of one actor abandoning a project and another turning it into a great hit.

Prabhas is well-known for his passion for his art, and the Baahubali actor is no exception. Given that he devoted over six years of his life to this monumental work, it was only inevitable that many chances were missed along the way. He was known to choose his movies after a lot of thinking even before he signed up for them.

Here are a few super hit films that were purportedly turned down by the Saaho actor but were later acted in by other celebrities:

1. Arya

The enormous blockbuster, thanks to Allu Arjun’s skill, was not written with the Pushpa actor in mind. Prabhas was approached by director Sukumar for the part of a one-sided lover.

2. Simhadri

It’s hard to say what went wrong for Prabhas to turn down a project with SS Rajamouli, but it wasn’t for personal reasons, since he eventually signed up for Baahubali. This film, which boosted Jr. NTR’s rabid fan base was previously scripted and presented to Prabhas.

3. Brindavanam

Prabhas, who was busy filming Mr. Perfect at the time, turned down this film, which is one of the most well-known and largest family entertainers ever made. The film was eventually passed over to Jr. NTR, who did an excellent job with it.

4. Okkadu

This successful film was first presented to Prabhas by director Guna Shekhar and became one of Mahesh Babu’s biggest hits. Tevar, starring Arjun Kapoor, was a Hindi remake of the mega success.

5. Nayak

Prabhas had also rejected Nayak, which was later grabbed by superstar Ram Charan, in addition to these four massive successes. Prabhas was apparently preoccupied with the filming of Mirchi at the time.

Nonetheless, we aren’t complaining because these blockbuster films were later remade by different celebrities, and the audience was ecstatic.
