Disha Patani got her foothold in the entertainment industry with her debut Telegu film Loafer. However, the actress got notoriety after she played the role of MS Dhoni’s girlfriend in the film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, featuring Sushant Singh Rajput.
However, Disha Patani once revealed that she took the role because she was immensely eager to meet the famous cricketer, MS Dhoni. However, she didn’t know that she would really meet him real but eventually, her dreams came true.
She said, “I don’t know when I am going to meet Dhoni, but I am looking forward to meeting him. I will ask him about the film and my role — whether he liked it,”. She also added, “The casting of the film is inspired by the real-life characters. So, you will see Sakshi in Kiara or Dhoni in Sushant. I hope Dhoni sees Priyanka in me. I have added my pinch to the character also. I feel you cannot go technical every time and should add a little bit of your own,”
