We’re not whining since sheers are here to stay. Deepika Padukone was recently photographed wearing a translucent georgette Dolce & Gabbana blouse, teamed with black high-waisted Balenciaga slacks, after making an impression at a number of red carpet events. And, yes, the xXx: Return of Xander Cage actor is sporting not one, but two trends at the same time – note the monochrome?
Shaleena Nathani, a celebrity stylist, tweeted photographs of the stunning actress wearing the costume, which she paired with a pair of Gucci heels, Aquamarine earrings, and a centre-parted low bun courtesy of hairdresser Franco Vallelonga. Padukone’s make-up was kept simple by artist Anil C, focusing on her eyes and the statement brows she sports.
The lace flares and frills at the neckline of the sheer D&G top instantly gave it a classic vintage look, but the sheer material and pairing with the high-waisted pants gave it a 21st-century modern silhouette. Talk about combining eras and being timeless.
Padukone, on the other hand, appears to be having a midsummer romance with transparent whites and lace, as seen by her latest appearance in a stunning Maison Valentino lace jumpsuit. Sridevi wore it with Gucci pearl T-strap shoes, which she previously wore with her Valentino bow ensemble. She was ready to go with light smoky eyes and natural makeup by Puneet B Saini. Pearl earrings completed the ensemble for the 31-year-old. Gabriel Georgiou, the actress’s hairstylist, gave her a stunning look.
