Emilia Clarke claims that this new foundation has radically changed her make-up regimen.

Emilia Clarke has been known as Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons, on Game of Thrones for years, but she has a new title: Queen of the Kitchen, which she has earned during the show’s year-long hiatus.

Clarke tells Glamour over Zoom from London, “I was becoming a pretty good baker—cookies, cakes, tarts, muffins, bread, tea cakes, brownies, blondies, everything.” “But then my kitchen became moist, and I haven’t been able to bake since.” “It’s being repaired, but it’s been causing me a lot of grief.” “Cooking has become a hobby for me.”

It’s not surprising that the British actor puts her all into whatever she does. Clarke is steadfast in her refusal to get injectables, whether it’s bleaching her hair platinum blond to make the process of converting into Targaryen simpler.

Her enthusiasm for her job as a Clinique brand ambassador is contagious. “I was indoctrinated at an early age because my mother worked in skincare and makeup,” she explains. “She started teaching me how to wash, tone, and moisturize when I was ten years old, so I came into this profession ready to take it to the next level.” “I’m aware of what works.”

And she always does. During our Zoom, she brings out product after product from what appears to be an off-camera Mary Poppins-style handbag, promoting a must-have item for every occasion. Do you have extremely dry skin? Clarke says it’s no problem.

“I’m always on the lookout for the ideal moisturizer, and the new Moisture Surge 100-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator is it. It contains aloe and hyaluronic acid, so your skin will be just as moisturized at the end of the day as it was when you first applied it. It’s fantastic.”
