1) Chris Hemsworth:
This actor once spoke about his views on feminism. As per an Entertainment Weekly report, he stated, “My mum’s a big feminist. I think that my views on things, as far as respect for women and so on, came from my mum. My dad has a very balanced and respectful view on a lot of things too. They were huge positive influences in my life.”
2) Tom Hardy:
This actor once shut down a sexist interviewer that asked him how he felt about working with ‘all these women in a film that was supposed to be a man’s movie’. As per a Daily dot report, the actor replied by saying, “Do you think there should be better parts for women than just girlfriend and wife or lover? Because I’m bored with that.”
3) Jason Sudeikis:
He is quite enthusiastic about feminism. This hilarious actor once made quite a few headlines when he was spotted wearing a t-shirt with a feminist slogan, “My Body, My Choice.”
4) Benedict Cumberbatch:
This actor spoke up about toxic masculinity while promoting his movie, Power of the Dog. He stated that most men get defensive when these subjects about inequality between genders are raised but “we just have to shut up and listen,” as per a Star Insider report.
5) Will Smith:
Will Smith once talked about Willow, his daughter cutting her hair. As per an In Style report, he said, “When you have a little girl, it’s like how can you teach her that you’re in control of her body? If I teach her that I’m in charge of whether or not she can touch her hair, she’s going to replace me with some other man when she goes out in the world. She can’t cut my hair but that’s her hair. She has got to have command of her body. So when she goes out into the world, she’s going out with a command that is hers. She is used to making those decisions herself. We try to keep giving them those decisions until they can hold the full weight of their lives.”
