The Tamil film industry has quite a few stunning talents. Tamil cinema’s audience has been growing in numbers. And there have been movie stars who have been trying to join other languages to broaden their fan following. Here are 5 Tamil actors who have worked with Telugu directors before!
1) Suriya:
While the director, Vikram Kumar started his career with Tamil movies and then later on shifted to Telugu. Vikram Kumar hit the jackpot with his mega-hit, Manam starring the actor Suriya.
2) Vijay:
This Tamil sensation joined hands with the Telugu filmmaker, Vamshi Paidipally, for the hit movie, Thalapathy 66. It was the first time Dil Raju, the Telugu producer worked with a Tamil actor.
3) Karthi:
Karthi worked with the talented director, Siva who has made quite a few super hits in the Telugu film industry. He starred in Siva’s movie, Siruthai. It was a massive hit!
4) Gautam Kartik:
This star worked with Santhosh P Jayakumar for his comedy, “Hara Hara Mahadevaki”. This director had only worked on one Telugu film at the time. This movie was a hit and the director decided to stick to Tamil movies ever since, as per a Times of India report.
5) Dhanush:
This actor is quite the popular star of the Tamil industry. He teamed up with the director, Sekhar Kammula as per a Times of India report. The movie is said to have the backdrop of Madurai.
