Haelyn Shastri who has featured in TV shows Vighnaharta Ganesh, Tenali Rama, Manmohini etc is happy and excited to have bagged her first big break in Bollywood.
Haelyn is glad to be sharing screen space with none other than Akshay Kumar for Sooryavanshi which is presently in the making now. The action film is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar.
Says Haelyn, “After having grown up watching the legendary actors, it feels good to be finally acting in a film. The fact that I was destined to bag this role of the cop in the film makes me happy.”
Haelyn had her first scene for the big screen with Akshay Kumar. “I was very nervous considering that fact that I was giving my first ever shot for a film and that too with such a big figure. But Akshay Sir is such a nice guy to work with. I am happy upon bagging this film.”
Haelyn will look at playing interesting and challenging roles on the big screen. “This is my first baby step into films. I want to work really hard and do my best. I believe that with hard work comes recognition.”
