The recently released Tamil movie Maha is directed by U.R. Jameel. It is a thriller movie featuring Hansika Motwani in the role of mother and follows her character’s bond with her daughter. While the actress agreed to this movie as it was different and unique from all of her movies released earlier.

Hansika said, “Being the 50th film, this had to be different work to whatever I had done in the past. I had never done a female-centric movie before Maha, so it naturally fits. It has also been a while since I have done a thriller.”

However, this movie wasn’t an easy pick for her as she had to adopt a different approach to play the character of a mother for the first time in her career.
