Apart from acting, she’s also a respected motivational speaker who always looks forward to bringing the best out of herself as well as others by radiating positive energy through her words. She’s always been a patriot and has taken Independence Day very seriously just like any other respectable and concerned citizen of this country. So, what does Independence Day mean to her and what are her special plans this year? During an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz, when the diva was asked about the same, she was quoted as saying,
“Well, it’s the 75th year of our independence and this day has always been very special to me. It means celebrating the very essence of India and paying respect to all those people who helped us get our Independence. I am a diehard patriot and I love my country. I celebrate Independence Day diligently. So, be it flag hoisting or singing the National anthem from the core of my heart, I do it all. Additionally, it’s also my father’s birthday and so, there’s plenty to celebrate there as well. It’s doubly special for me. So, I am going to be celebrating India’s independence as well as my father’s birthday with my family. Happy Independence Day to every Indian out there.”
