Vikrant Massey is one of the finest and most talented actors in the country at present. The last few years have been amazing for the actor across all formats. Be it TV, OTT, theatre releases or movies on OTT, Vikrant has been seen and liked by one and all in the best way possible. And now, the actor is all set to continue the good work in ‘Love Hostel’ on ZEE5 that also stars Sanya Malhotra and Bobby Deol in lead roles.
Both Vikrant and Sanya play lovers who manage to elope in order to fight against social stigmas that come as a roadblock in between their love story. During an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz, when Vikrant was asked about his preparation for the same and how he researched on safe houses, the actor was quoted as saying,
“There was no particular kind of research on safe houses, but fortunately in this case I happened to know a friend who has been to a safe house because he eloped with the woman he loves and who he is happily married with now. Back then, they were ostracized for what they felt was right and he had to spend 15-16 days in a safehouse.. I just managed to have a chat with him on how it was. Unfortunately, I did not get to visit a safe house as I don’t think it is so easily accessible. However, thanks to social media (for a good cause in this case), as it helped us with a lot of material that we could refer to.”
