The gorgeous diva Vidya Balan is one of the rare talents in B-town. She has carved her niche in the industry with her impactful roles. Apart from being a prominent star, she is a fashionista who loves to talk about different topics in media bluntly related to Bollywood. She has always raised her voice against body shaming, racism, and sexiest appeal. And in the same matter, the actress once again spilt beans on her experience in the industry in her initial days.

Kahaani actress Vidya Balan in an interview with the famous freelance journalist Faye D’Souza expressed her thoughts and said, “Initially, we were all very conscious, thinking about what to wear. I don’t wear makeup when I am not shooting or have events to attend. So initially it did bother me. I would literally pray that the photographers are not there. I would duck into my car so that they don’t spot me. I was quite a fugitive but then I was like this is who I am. I think it also comes with age and experience, and acceptance.. the realisation.. like whatever. Take it or leave it.”

In her many interviews, Vidya Balan shares her thoughts on body, size, and colour. She teaches us to focus on inner beauty rather than the outer self. Also, acceptance is a must, and when you accept your body, it will make you feel good.

She continued explaining it in detail and said, “Also, I really feel that we have to look at it in a larger context. The business of cinema.. it’s the men who have brought people to the theatres. However, with the success of more women-led films, we will make more money. Because, if you look at the ratio, it’s the same, however, the budget of women-led films is much smaller.”
