When Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor came together for ‘Dhadak’ backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, a lot of curiosity went ahead along with it. While people wanted to know more about Ishaanand who this new bloke is because he had already worked in critically acclaimed director, Majid Majidi’s film, ‘Beyond The Clouds’, the curiousity around Janhvi was of a different nature as they wanted to see how different or similar will be Sridevi’s daughter be from her in the silver screen.
One should not forget the fact that both these young actors had a pressure to deliver justice to the Marathi original of the film, ‘Sairat’ which was a humongous hit in its own right. But they surely passed the test as they somehow found their way into the hearts of the audience.
Since ‘Dhadak’, both the actors have grown personally and professionally and are all set to unite again with another movie backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. However the difference is that instead of Shashank Khaitan, it would be Bejoy Nambiar at the helm of things guiding the project.
Here’s hoping the magic of ‘Dhadak’ works wonders for the duo in their upcoming movie as well.The movie is all set to release before October 2020.
