Shilpa Shetty has been through the biggest turmoil in her life, after her husband Raj Kundra was arrested for a pornography case. The actress had to face some horrifying trolls and criticisms from the netizens, however, the lady stood strong enough and has now opened up on the controversy, welcoming ‘newer beginnings and positivity’.
Talking about her new film, as she is all set to entertain action-comedy film, Nikamma, which will feature Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia in the lead, alongside, Shilpa Shetty said, “My avatar in the movie, rising above everything and playing a ‘superwoman’, I think we all have played this very strong character in our real lives. Many of us don’t talk about it. We’ve all been very strong and we’ve braved the storm, and I think it is time to celebrate newer beginnings and positivity.” As quoted by Pink Villa.
For the unversed, Raj Kundra, businessman and Shilpa Shetty’s husband was arrested in connection with distributing pornography videos through his apps. However, the couple kept silent throughout the trials, until Shilpa Shetty released a statement on social media asking netizens to respect their privacy. The actress even got back to work after Raj Kundra’s arrest, followed by her film’s release, Hungama 2. The businessman was granted bail in September.
