Jacob Elordi, the star of ‘Euphoria,’ has had a meteoric climb. His ascension to the top of Hollywood’s mountain did not come immediately, and it required a great deal of behind-the-scenes effort.

Zac Efron went through identical conditions as Elordi. For films like ‘Baywatch,’ Zac had to go on strict diets. He not only regretted the diet, but he was also secretly suffering from weariness as a result of it all.

When Elordi was cast in ‘Euphoria,’ he was obliged to adjust a few things. We’ll look at what happened behind the scenes and his culinary philosophy.

It wasn’t the first time Jacob Elordi had been instructed to lose weight in preparation for a job. Given that he had a deadline, his training and diet habits for ‘Kissing Booth’ were extremely strict. The actor spoke with Men’s Health about his transition, saying he didn’t want people commenting about his physique.

“I was really young at the time and got put into a world where everyone wanted to speak about my physique… it absolutely fucked me up,” he adds. “I have nothing in common with that. I was attempting to establish myself as an actress. It was a lot of labor, and I detested every minute of it.”

When it came to his role in ‘Euphoria,’ he had to adjust his habits once more, especially when it came to his eating.

Given that he was portraying a quarterback, it was only natural that Elordi would need to bulk up for his role in ‘Euphoria.’ The most challenging component of the adjustment was changing his protein intake, which is the most critical aspect of muscle growth. This was difficult for Elordi since he doesn’t eat much and eats on the spur of the moment. High-protein meals like chicken breast, on the other hand, are more difficult to ingest rapidly.

“I don’t eat a lot,” he says, “so I had to eat a lot more protein because I was training a lot more because I’m a quarterback and an athlete.”

“I don’t particularly love the act of eating; I believe it wastes a significant amount of time… I’m bad at sticking to a schedule, so unless someone tells me to do it and tell me to eat, I’ll generally forget and do something else instead.”
