Bollywood’s young and talented actress Janhvi Kapoor has made her presence felt at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. This time she has reached Cannes for the screening of her film ‘Homebound’. On this special occasion, the entire team of the film was present with her, which includes Neeraj Ghevan, Karan Johar, Ishaan Khattar and Vishal Jethwa.
Janhvi’s first look for the film festival was much talked about, in which she wore a custom skirt and corset by designer Tarun Tahiliani. The special thing was that the fabric used in that outfit was real tissue prepared in Banaras.
Now, the new look that Janhvi has adopted for the official premiere screening of ‘Homebound’ has once again caught everyone’s attention. This time she wore a custom design by Anamika Khanna, in which she carried an aqua blue flowy skirt with a golden textured top. Rhea Kapoor shared pictures of this look on social media and wrote in the caption, “For the official premiere screening of Homebound, Janhvi wore custom couture by Anamika Khanna. Her look combines traditional archival jewels with custom touches of jade and jadao”.
Janhvi’s makeup look was equally modest and beautiful. She kept the face in a natural flush finish, slightly defined the eyebrows, applied nude lipstick on the lips and applied light pink eyeshadow on the eyelids.
She styled her hair in a tight bun, which drew all the attention to her stunning jewellery. She did not wear any neckpiece, but the heavy bangles were giving a royal touch to her entire look.
Overall, this Cannes look of Janhvi once again proves that she is not behind in taking Indian fashion to the global platform. This glimpse of her not only represents Indian tradition but also perfectly matches international fashion with a modern touch.
