Long back, when Sara Ali Khan made and appearance on Koffee With Karan with Saif Ali Khan, she openly confessed on the show that she wanted to date Kartik Aaryan. Ever since then, whenever Kartik and Sara were spotted together, the excitement and happiness of the fans hit an all-time high. There were rumours around that both Sara and Kartik had dated. If one takes a close note, both of them were even spotted together in Thailand to celebrate the actress’s birthday in the year 2019. However, things went off track when the duo unfollowed each other on social media.
While there were questions about whether they really dated or not, there was no confirmation. Well, seems like finally, we have a confirmation on this note from none other than Karan Johar himself where it all started. As per reports in Hindustan Times, Karan was quoted as saying,
“I call this couch the couch of manifestation. I was like telling Kriti (Sanon) the other day, I said just say a name! Because Katrina (Kaif) on this couch said that she thought she would look good with Vicky (Kaushal), then Vicky collapsed and then the next thing we know is that they are married. Sara (Ali Khan) mentioned Kartik (Aaryan) and they started dating. Alia (Bhatt) has mentioned Ranbir (Kapoor) season after season and she is married to him today and is going to have his beautiful baby. So it’s fantastic that this couch has actually manifested so many relationships.”
